About Brunswick United

Brunswick United is a non-profit youth soccer organization proudly serving families in and around Brunswick County, North Carolina. Established in 2025, our mission is to provide a pathway that bridges the gap between recreational play and competitive soccer for athletes of all skill levels. We are dedicated to developing skilled, confident, and disciplined players in a supportive, family-centered environment. With programs designed for ages U7 - U19, Brunswick United emphasizes individual skill development, tactical understanding, teamwork, and sportsmanship while keeping the game fun and accessible.

Beyond recreation and league play, Brunswick United offers seasonal camps, showcase opportunities for advanced players, and a long-term vision to build a state-of-the-art facility that will serve as a hub for both training and community. Guided by a passionate board of directors and experienced coaching staff, Brunswick United is committed to transparency, player development, and creating meaningful opportunities for every player to thrive on and off the field. Brunswick United is proud to be an official member club of the North Carolina Youth Soccer Association (NCYSA)— the state governing body for youth soccer under US Youth Soccer and U.S. Soccer. As a member of NCYSA, we are part of a broader network of youth soccer organizations committed to providing safe, inclusive, and high-quality soccer experiences across North Carolina.

Being part of NCYSA ensures that our club operates under a set of shared policies, standards, and values that prioritize:

Safety & Compliance

Insurance & Risk Management

All registered players, coaches, and volunteers are covered under NCYSA’s secondary accident insurance during sanctioned events.
NCYSA provides risk management policies and procedures to protect participants.

Player Safety

All adult volunteers and coaches must complete background checks through NCYSA's screening system.
SafeSport training is mandatory for all adult participants in accordance with the U.S. Center for SafeSport and federal law (SafeSport Act of 2017).
We follow NCYSA’s Concussion Policy, including return-to-play protocols.

Coach Education & Certification

All coaches are required to complete age-appropriate coaching education through NCYSA and U.S. Soccer.
Coaches have access to continuing education and resources through NCYSA to support player development.

Code of Conduct

We adhere to NCYSA’s Code of Conduct for players, parents, coaches, and spectators — promoting sportsmanship, respect, and a positive environment for all.
